Partner, Mrs Esperance MUSIRIMU, is a former Judge and first woman lawyer who joined the Burundi
Bar Association since 1995 .
She holds an LL.B Degree at the University of Burundi.She also holds a certificate in transitional justice issued by the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) in Brussels , December 2005.She also has several certificates in management of micro finances in partnership with CGAP.
She is a member of Burundi Bar Association, East Africa Law Society (EALS) and the Association of Women Lawyers of Burundi.She practises in social law, family law, civil law, commercial law, law of micro finances, banking and insurance.She has been advising nationals and foreign clients .
She is specialized in legal managing clinics and has been employed by the World Bank, Women’s Rights Land Initiative, PTRPC / IFAD and PROCASUR.
She collaborated with UNHCR, UNICEF, the International Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers in the world, Global Right, ICCO Cooperation and IFAD.
She participated in several BRIDGE ADVOCACY sessions organized by the UN Human Rights Commission.
She published a lot on the rights of women and children such as:
