Mr Sylvestre NGENDAKURIYO is a senior Lawyer registered on the senior lawyers list of the Bar since April 2010 and also a member of East African Law Society (EALS). He has a degree in law from the University of Burundi (2001). For his experience, Maitre Sylvestre NGENDAKURIYO is a former Judge for over 9 years.
In his professional life, he has received several training seminars with Avocat Sans Frontières (ASF) on access to justice for all and the right to land ownership, with Burundi Human Rights Office on civil and political rights, with ITEKA Human Rights League on crimes against humanity and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment, and with Bridge to Justice on legal and judicial assistance for litigants. He has already advised, assisted and represented individuals and legal entities in the fields of labour law, commercial law, insurance law, land and property law, family law, administrative law and debt recovery.
